H. C. Chandler & Son, Inc. (HCCPT) was incorporated in 1983 installing rubber sheet lining to interior of tank trailers hauling various chemicals and acids. The company began installing rubber sheet linings in tank cars in 1988 and gradually expanded to become the largest applicator or rubber sheet linings inside railroad tank cars in the United States. The company does not manufacture any of the linings or adhesives applied by the company.

H.C. Chandler & Son, Inc. is a Department of Transportation (DOT) and American Association of Railroads (AAR) certified lining facility. The DOT certification enables the company to inspect and repair or replace linings inside tank trailers. The AAR certification enables the company to inspect, repair or replace linings in rail road tank cars.

The company operates in accordance with written operating procedures and quality program approved by the AAR. The company performs installation of linings in strict accordance to the lining manufacturers and adhesive manufacturers’ written instructions. All employees are trained by HCCPT.

The company installs linings in both newly constructed and existing tank trailers and rail road tank cars. All tank cars inbound our shop via the Union Pacific Rail Road spur adjacent to our property.
